Garden of Sea Anemones

Spring is slowly inching its way in with the celebratory ground breaking of what I like to call garden anemones. These UGO's (unidentifiable growing objects) poke through the soil and wave their tentacles so as to say "We're coming!"

It has been great having a camera with a good macro setting. I am now able to take my favorite kinds of pictures again. Enjoy!
(In fact, I thought I had lost some of my other nature shots, but just realized they still exist. You may check them out at https://picasaweb.google.com/heather.huff.albums.).

Doug's note: This next picture is one Heather took last spring. We wish it looked like this in Rexburg now! These are apricot blossoms. We know this tree well, and returned last fall with a tarp and bags to harvest loads of fruit. :-) I love this shot, so I thought I'd include it.

  1. Nice shots! Your little camera and some expertise do great! You will have to go back in a couple of weeks and see if you can identify the UGOs. I"m glad you didn't lose your pictures.
